The Client understands that the role of Lara Wilson is not to provide medical or psychological services; or to diagnose, treat or cure any disease, condition or other physical or mental ailment of the human body. Rather, Lara's role is as mentor and guide who has been trained in holistic counselling, and is assisting clients reach their own life goals by supporting them devise and implement positive, sustainable lifestyle changes. The Client understands that Lara is not acting in the capacity of a doctor or psychologist and that any advice given is not meant to take the place of advice given by these professionals. If the Client is under the care of a health care professional or currently uses prescription medications, the Client should discuss any changes or potential supplements use with their allied health professionals, and should not discontinue any prescription medications without first consulting his or her doctor.
The Client has chosen to work with Lara Wilson and understands that the information received is not meant to take the place of seeing allied health professionals, but rather work in conjunction and along side them.
Personal Responsibility
The Client acknowledges that the Client takes full responsibility for the Client’s life and well-being, as well as the lives and well-being of the Client’s family and children (where applicable), and all decisions made during and after this program/package.
The Client expressly assumes the risks of the Program, including the possible risks inherent in making lifestyle changes.
Confidentiality
Lara Wilson will keep the Client’s information private, and will not share the Client’s information to any third party unless compelled to by law.

Pricing
- Prices quoted on our website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
- Prices quoted on our website are subject to change at our discretion and may be varied without notice. Sometimes price changes may be outside our control ie supplier increases and increase to prices of food, accommodation, services etc. Thank you for your understanding. The price is guaranteed without change when paid in full.
- Retreats within Australia – Full payment is due 6 weeks before the commencement of the scheduled retreat you are booked into.
- Retreats held outside Australia – Full payment is due 8 weeks before the commencement of the scheduled retreat you are booked into.
- At the time of booking a deposit is due, a minimum $500 for Retreats within Australia (price dependant on duration, see deposit required for your Retreat) and a $1000 deposit for retreats held outside of Australia.
The Client may cancel their participation in the retreat, subject to the following refund policy:
- Cancellations should be forwarded to us in a written email. The following charges will be applied:
- Primary deposit of $500-$1000 (original offer depending) payment per person (non-refundable) will be charged as cancellation fees.
- 120 days prior to arrival date, 40% of your retreat price will be charged as cancellation fees. (plus bank fees where applicable).
- 90 days prior to arrival date, 50% of your retreat price will be charged as cancellation fees. (plus bank fees where applicable).
- 60 days prior to arrival date, 75% of your retreat price will be charged as cancellation fees. (plus bank fees where applicable).
- 30 days prior arrival date a 100% of your retreat price will be charged as cancellation fees.
Refunds and credits
- The deposit of $500-$1000 is non refundable unless another participant can fill the space. In such a case $250 administration fee will be held and the remaining deposit funds returned except in the case that the deposit is held in credit for another retreat (see below).
Arriving late/departing early at a Retreat
- If a participant on the Retreat is arriving later or leaving earlier than the scheduled start or finish time, there is no discount or refund offered. This is the choice of the participant and the full fee is applied to secure your place.
- If disruptions occur that are outside our control, that prevent our travel to the place of retreat, a 30% – 50% credit will be offered to use on another retreat within 12 months (at Lara's discretion dependant on terms of accommodation and suppliers ). This could include but not limited to ie natural disaster, extreme weather conditions that prevents us from going to the location, pandemic, civil unrest or war etc.
- Not meeting the minimum number that are required to go ahead with the retreat. If these numbers are not reached the Retreat may be cancelled at the discretion of Lara.
- If Lara or assistants are prevented or unable to facilitate the Retreat due to illness or unforeseen personal circumstances.This does not include events outside our control listed above.
- In such cases a full refund is offered (up to 60 days prior) or credit for another Retreat within a 24 month period.
- Travel insurance is imperative for retreats outside Australia and must cover; full top medical cover and costs, emergency evacuation, walking, general activity, being a passenger in a vehicle etc.
- Please note we may be traveling to places/countries where medical response and provision can be very different to the standards received within Australia.
- You need to have a valid passport for international travel with at least 6 months validity from the date of return.
- Any suggested vaccines, for a particular country where the Retreat is held, is your responsibility to decide if needed and necessary.
- You need to be in good, appropriate physical health and stable mental health to participate in the Retreat you have booked into. Different Retreats have potentially varying risks and hazards. Lara and any retreat assistants will guide you safely, with care and to the best of their capacity and ability. You need to be aware that there is some risk in participating in the Retreat, and that events can occur beyond our control. Ultimately you are responsible for your own health and safety. This is not the responsibility of Lara Wilson.
Sessions with Lara
- The Client understands that the final cost of the Program or Package is calculated on the personal inclusions, requested by the client as well as time frame, that the client constructs with Lara
- Mentoring Pack Refund Policy - Mentoring packs are designed as a committed journey and are therefore non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, a partial refund may be considered for any unused portion of a mentoring pack, subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of Lara Wilson.
- Where a refund is approved, all sessions utilised will be charged at the standard individual session rate of $250.00 (plus GST), regardless of the original package rate. To add, any cancelled appointments that were made with the 48-hour agreed window will be charged. Along with any phone support between sessions.
- In the event of the Client’s absence or withdrawal, for any reason whatsoever, the Client will remain responsible for the pro rata share of the program/package that has been delivered, plus a cancelation fee of $250 (plus GST).
- Lara Wilson reserves the right to cancel the program if at any point if she believes it is not advantageous for the mentoring program to continue. If this happens, the Client is only responsible for the pro rata share of the services received.
